Weekends are such a great invention.
On Saturday Steven and Becca came down for the day. We grilled a little surf and turf--steak and shrimp (plus low brow hotdogs) for lunch. For dessert we had blondies covered with ice cream, chocolate sauce, nuts, whipping cream and topped with a cherry.
We put a candle in Steven's dessert to wish him an early happy birthday. Becca and Miriam.
Not only did they drive down, S & B also helped us move the green couches downstairs. That was fun. Thank you! We managed to do it with only minor scrapes to the walls, couches and ourselves. The switcheroo was inspired by wanting to have more seating in the basement near the big screen. (Plus I'm on the lookout for a new couch. In the mean time we have the beat down yellow couch for the upstairs family room.)
The downstairs is now set for maximum entertainment--couches, big TV, and speakers (thank you Steven and Becca for setting that up).
After fixing our wireless network, Steven and Becca finally got to go home.
Yesterday marked the start of BYU football. Mark, dressed in appropriate gear for the kickoff.
