This took us over two years?

Last night we finished our family outing with a trip to Target. While there we bought a new white bench for the upstairs bathroom--16 happy dollars. It's amazing. For the past two years we've been kicking around a beat-up Rubbermaid bench that was always in the way. The old bench had to be moved everytime you opened the door. The new bench can stay in place while you open and shut the door. Why didn't we do this two years ago?
