Striking while the iron is hot

Mark is fond of the principle of "striking while the iron is hot."

For example, when he gets going on work projects he's on a roll. However, if the hot iron gets interupted it won't happen.

This weekend the iron was hot for yard projects. We weeded, we re-seeded the lawn, we mixed in compost and then planted our garden. The flow got stopped and so the mulching projects and flower projects were scratched.

The hot iron really applies to me and ironing. I actually like ironing--once I get started. It smells good and it's relaxing. However, I have trouble getting started. That's why Mark needs to have about 15 work shirts. That way we can avoid most laundry emergencies waiting for my iron to get hot.
