Last week an e-mail appeared in my inbox inviting us to a Colonial Ward reunion in October. How crazy to imagine--a work-it room reunion.
We thought, talked and laughed for a couple days. Then we bought tickets for the family to go to D.C. We're going on a big family trip.
After six years I'm looking forward to remembering and seeing places and people. D.C. was six intense years of living. It's where I went right after graduating from college. It's where I worked. Where I first went to the temple. Where I got a masters degree. Where I met Mark.
I'm so excited about this trip. Holden and Lili already can identify a picture of the White House. I'm looking forward to showing the kids the mall, the Smithsonian, the zoo, the capitol and everything else.
