She'd stopped wanting

We arrived home yesterday after our trip to Utah for Grandma Morton's funeral. It was wonderful to spend time with family we don't see very often and to remember Grandma.

A couple Grandma qualities I noted during the funeral that I want to emulate:

  • She kept things simple
  • When she was younger she wanted a bedroom set. By the time she had the money for one, she stopped wanting it. I want to stop wanting.
  • She was " persnickety" (according to her Bishop) to the end in paying her tithes
Our week in pictures...

Later in the week...
My parents with all of their 10 grandchildren.
We celebrated an early birthday for Rachel and Teancum.
Before we left we made a visit to Red Butte Gardens.

Yippee! Mark was able to come out to UT for the end of the week and see everyone.
